Job Scout — AI Job Match Engine

Job Scout is an automated job aggregator and AI match engine for Sri Lankan tech portals. It lightweight-scrapes public listings with axios and cheerio, evaluates each role against a user's CV using Amazon Bedrock (Claude 3 Haiku), and delivers a concise HTML email digest via SES. The whole system runs on a minimal, cost-guarded AWS serverless footprint: a single shared EventBridge tick dispatches due users, Lambdas handle presigned S3 CV uploads, PDF parsing, scraping, Bedrock matching, and email, with DynamoDB holding profiles, jobs, and match results. Deduplication skips already-suggested jobs to avoid wasted Bedrock and SES spend.
